I got a free mint tea from the guy who works here. I had chatted with him previously on one of my iPhone apps. This cafe is supposed to have really good hot chocolate and cookies...let's see if I agree.
Mom and dad departed the apt this morning to head back to VT with a pitstop in NJ to visit my dad's aunt. It was great having them down here the first day and a half.
So now the adventure really begins here in NYC. I am looking forward to exploring and taking it all in.
