I started it off by meeting my cousin Stevie at the Port Authority bus station up by 42nd St. We bought our tickets to New Jersey to see my dad's aunt and family. The ride over took about an hour or so. It was nice to see the pretty blanket of snow that was covering the area.
The rest of the morning and afternoon was spent with the rest of the family having lunch, laughing, remembering old stories of different people from Burlington, and playing games with the kids.
Stevie and I got back into the city about 6pm or so and it was off to the apartment to chill and then get ready to meet up with friends for dinner. After a little down time I headed over to my friend's new apartment which was about 3-4 blocks away. So close.....so we will I am sure being having a few dinners together and hanging out a lot while I am staying in the Village.
For dinner we went to Spunto...
Four of us met up and 3 of us created our own personal pizza. I chose garlic, chicken and bacon....mmmm, delicious.
After dinner we just ended up walking around for a little while and enjoying the city.
