I got home, talked to mom and dad, had a glass of wine and then headed to the UWS. Wasn't sure what train to take since there were a few going in that direction but ended up on the B train. I thought I would get off the train a stop or two before 110th St, so I got off at 96th St and Central Park West. It was a little bit nippy, thank goodness for my scarf my folks got me from Turkey. I covered up and started to walk northwest in the direction towards Broadway and 104th. I saw there were a few bars over there on one of my iPhone apps.
Once I got up there I looked at the various bars and settled on the Village Pourhouse at 982 Amsterdam Ave. I got a few Magic Hat #9's and played a few game on the little video machine.
About 9pm David was in the area and we met up to head to the Lime Leaf, a Thai restaurant on 72nd St. It was very yummy. The best part besides it being so tasty was that David had a great coupon that made the meal only cost each of us $10. An appetizer, 2 entrees, and a dessert all for $10....mmmmm :-)
When we were done with dinner we headed over to a small (kind of a dive) bar called the Candle Bar. There were only a few people in there but the music was good and the pool table was open. I got a beer and we played a game of pool.
After all that I headed back down to my apartment. :-)
A great night with David as always. I will be sure to have many more coupon dinners with him. :-)
Tonight I am off to Brooklyn to see a coworker host a comedy show at Metropolitan (a bar in Williamsburg).

So fun!!
