Walking around with a new friend

Had a nice relaxing weekend.
Saturday was cloudy, foggy, and wet but I still managed to get out and about a little.  Had brunch on the UWS on Broadway.  The brunch was half off if you sat at the bar so I was all over it.  I had eggs benedict and read the New York Times.

After that I continued to walk around a little in the area but then made my way to Columbus Circle and walked around the Time Warner Center.  I had some time to kill before I met up with Peter and Nella who used to live in the back apartment in Hollywood.  I poked into some various shops and then chilled at Starbucks for a little bit.  I met up with them at about 3pm and we spend the next hour or so chit chatting about NYC life and reminiscing about their time in LA.
Made my way back home after that and then later went out to a bar on the UWS.

Sunday was a walking day...
The sky was blue and the temperature was not to cold.  I met up with Mike (a new friend in NYC) for brunch in Harlem.  Then we set out to check out the area with the destination of Haagen-Dazs.  We made our way west stopping at some amazing spots.
Riverside Church
Grants Tomb
(stopped at Haagen Dazs)
Then headed east stoping at...
St John Divine
and walked through Morningside Park

  1. These pics are really special! I hope you plan on framing them in some way. They would look great in an apt!
